Seems like a good way to foster collaboration among students. I am always searching for ways to facilitate students helping other students and blogging may be the answer...excited to try.

Google Classroom

I thought today was really enlightening.  I especially enjoyed the session on Google Classroom.  This piece of technology is going to completely revolutionize how I work my classes.  I am going to start using the program within my class to post assignments and have students respond by attaching documents as homework.  I would like to know more about Google Classroom, such as how to monitor students when they click on the assignments (i.e., videos, articles, etc.).  I believe if I created an assignment that utilizes the program, like an homework article and survey to accompany it, assessments will become easier to grade!

I give Google Classroom the old "Mazur Thumbs Up"!

Mr. Savage likes the Mets, and don't bust him about it or else..

In Google forms class Paul Savage had a survey on who was your favorite NY area sports team.  He rigged it to say the Mets, no matter who you voted for. :)  He also showed us the Mets blanket you have to wear if you ever bust his chops about the Mets.  Rumor has it Chris Mazur once wore said blanket.

It kind of resembled this one.

So I will NEVER talk disparagingly about the Mets to Paul (Even though we all know the Yankees are 100 times better;)
